Hey guys is there anyway ya'll could put in a testing dummy. Something like the wall in Kunzar with a front and a back but but with at least 50X more hit points or even infinite hitpoints. Actually if you could do three with solo, group, and Raid avoidance levels I think that would go a LONG way to helping folks test changes to their class. You know the more I think about it these would be a great addition to the game in general as folks could use them to help learn how to play their class better.

I have to agree there...that would be an awesome addition.Obviously they've shown that its doable... and having a combat dummy would be great for trying out different CA orders etc. They just need to have it set with an ungodly high regen rate so you could have a bunch of people shooting at it w/o it being 'killed'

House item training dummies would be a great addition to carpenter recipies and as already stated there could be different types.

People were asking for testing dummys since the announcement of guild halls.

Dont see what the holdup is on putting them in, they already have the training wall in KJ, just make it a house item now, problem solved.

this is a pretty neat idea, and that wall in KJ is the best thing to parse oni guess they could add these dummies and make it so you cant get skill ups off them, so they are not exploited like duels were back in the day

skill ups is what the training wall in KJ is for

Yeah, I have been asking that for a few posts already.

We need an Heroic and a Epic wall, with the proper resists. Then we would be talking. Right now what we are able to study is a solo behaviour not representative of what we usually face.

Cor

Good idea. Would be great to see how you're doing in general and to test out different CA/spell orders.

Yes, very good idea. Can create a mannequin house type item with KJ trainning wall machanics. Would def help people out with spell/combat related issues. Very good idea /thumbs up.

The Qeynos Warrior Faction's "Sir Lucan" comes to mind as a possible test for the test dummy...

I like the idea too.

Their would have to be 2 types or the ability to "group" with it for heal testing also.

That's not even accurately testing solo behavior, as solo mobs still can resist, parry and avoid.
