<p>i tested the bristlebane stuff on the test server and there is a shady merchant at one of the camps in sinking sands, i cant find the shady merchant on valor, i think he should be part of bristlebane because he sells weird stuff</p>

So is this just a fluff thing with no quest or anything to do? The guys standing in North Qeynos do nothing at all. Kinda lame if that is all that there is to it.

<p>There is a quest but it starts in the outlying districts, not in the home towns as implied by the promo.  In Antonica the quest giver is by a tent near the birdie tower.</p>

Why schedule maintenance during a very limited time event on the very day things will be even MORE limited time-wise?

Its not a quest, you just right click on your fireplace and select the option.

As usual, I ran all over Qeynos, Freeport, Neriak and Kelethin doing the Bristlebane quest on APril 1st and managed to not find any hint of special goings on, outside of the fun treasure chests. Hope it was fun!

I have no idea where they were in other cities though. There was also one in EL giving out a quest that was kinda fun, although I didn't finish it.

<p>Eolorah is ocrrect. I completed and enjoyed the quests and the "helm" is competeting with the confetti in one of my hearths. I ran around various cities, after reading the boards, hoping to find my first guide event. I keep hearing about them, but have yet to EVER find one. I was commenting more on the challenge of being in the right place at the right time, on top of knowing when and where that is. I'd be interested in hearing about any events anyone did manage to be part of. As that is the only way I'll know anything about them <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p><p>Btw this is an observation, not a complaint or a flame. And a bit of wish full thinking.</p>
