<p>I don't want to appear ungrateful for the revised Defiler VP armor set...really I don't. Overall, it's a step in the right direction. There are, however, pieces and set bonuses that could still use some tweaking. For example:</p><p><img src="http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o14/dutchabbey/Chest.jpg" alt="" width="277" height="667" border="0" /><a rel="nofollow" href="http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o14/dutchabbey/Chest.jpg" target="_blank"></a></p><p>This focus is a copy and paste from our T7 set only with the higher level version. It wasn't a terrifically great choice in T7 and it's even less so now. As a <b><i>healer</i></b>, a fairly weak encounter DoT really isn't on the top of my list of things I need or want enhanced by my armor. Since you are nerfing the Mystical Aura Chainmail (see below), how about changing the focus on our set piece to something like Benevolent Alacrity, Runic Recovery or anything that would speed up cast or reuse timers of heals and benevolent spells? That would benefit the class and the raid a lot more than a miniscule increase to damage on a spell that doesn't do much damage to begin with.</p><p>The set bonuses could also use a bit of adjustment if possible. The 2 piece bonus to Bane is good. The 4 piece bonus to Fulginous Whip however kind of eludes me. I would prefer to see one of our group buffs bolstered a bit than yet another microscopic damage increase. The 6 piece increase to Deathward is a good start to improve on a terribly weak spell but, seriously, it's just not adding enough to make Deathward even remotely viable if anything short of completely reworking that spell could. </p><p>I also wasn't pleased to see how much STA we lost on the new pieces versus the old (a total loss of -62 STA) since trading hps for health is kind of our stock in trade. I would like to see those levels readjusted.</p><p>Also...the downgrade made to the Mystical Aura Chainmail is distressing. </p><p><img src="http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o14/dutchabbey/EQ2_000000-1-1.jpg" alt="" width="280" height="406" border="0" /> </p><p><img src="http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o14/dutchabbey/1608838843.jpg" alt="" width="280" height="352" border="0" /></p><p>With all of the power proc items available in this expansion, we really don't need this on what was one of the only decent pieces of healer chain in all of RoK. Shaman weren't offered much in this expansion with Benevolent Alacrity. In fact, shaman weren't offered much in this expansion at all in the way of decent armor. Since the Prophetic Reliance set BP isn't an item I'm going to rush to blow my DKP on with the new proposed focus effect, I was hoping to keep my Mystical Aura. Now that's going to be worthless too leaving Defilers with no good third alternative.</p>
