Blank appearance slots.

<p>Are there any items that I can place in the appearance slots that would result in displaying nothing.  So for example I can wear my plate armour but in the appearance slot have an item that would allow me to show bare hands on my model.</p>

There are a few "invisible" items. So far i have seen shoulders, hats, and bracers. Probably there are gloves too. They have no special name or tag. You have to click through a lot of items on the broker to find them.

There is a 30s item for the arms and I heard a 70s item for the hands.I really like the look of bracers on bare arms, so I can't wait for the 70s myself.  For my SK plate gloves totally cover my bracers, but at least I can use leather gloves in my appearance slot to make my bracers show.

For shoulders/bracers you can use any crafted cloth armor shoulders/bracers up to Tier 7 to hide those appearances. There are some level 55 cloth bracers you can get which will hide the gloves slot as well. But good luck getting those to drop, heh. As for the other slots, so far there are no pieces that hide anything, unless you are a brawler, in which case you can get gloves and boots that hide your glove/boot slots from two different quests in the Darklight Wood. My 26 DE Brigand has bare shoulders thanks to a lvl 5 MC shawl and I love it!  It's for any class and easy to craft too!  So save the 10g and make one for cheap.<img src="/eq2/images/smilies/e8a506dc4ad763aca51bec4ca7dc8560.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" width="15" height="15" />

The item you are looking for is the Pristine Tailored Broadcloth Shawl for looking sleeveless.  I dont know what the items are for hands, feet or chest for guy toons.

aye hit the broker and examine some of the crafted cloth stuff several of the head and shoulder items don't have any graphics...now chest and gloves...sorry theres not much(or any really) for non brawlers there

if anyone finds some graphic less gloves for a caster i will be happy. im tired of gloves removing my claws as an iksar. interestingly enough only the males have this problem. female iksar claws show up with the gloves still.

It has been repeatedly suggested that they either allow the option to set a slot to "default" or "empty" where default would default to the non appearance item and empty would show.....NOTHING. Failing that, it should be very easy to put a set of items in game, cloth and level one and perhaps even crafted to give the tailors a little love. Call it the Emperor's Clothes set or something! Make all the pieces invisible and appearance slot only. Problem solved. There are a lot of us that would LOVE to see this. I did the quest for the Darklight gloves on my bruiser and those things are wearable by all but cloth, yet only the brawlers can get them as a quest reward, same with the shoes. If that low level quest were simply changed to make those usable by ALL, and the quest reward AVAILABLE to all, they would get rid of a large portion of our whining right there. Most of us really want the glove slot gone......
