I have a level 13 wizard now and i have spent a few points into INT AA line .I have been reading some mixed ideas of where points should be allocated. I am mainly soloing now, and probably will be soloing a majority of my time since my play time is rather spuradic. I was originally thinking of going down the wisdom line, but someone told me that the int line was good, even though it looks mainly for threat reduction.I am looking for something for dps/survivability for soloing. Any suggestions. Thanks

You get a shield thing that mitigates against damage and there's a place on the other AA tab where you can spend 10 points to increase this mitigation. I'd recommend you spend there first. Getting +INT is good, btw, but I'd suggest getting that from gear at the lowest level while you up that mitigation shield thingy. (apologies for lack of correct names but not logged on)

The shield you are talking about is Magi's Shield, and your first 10 AA should go into it if you solo. If you are going to solo a lot, the STA line is very nice too as it gives you more hp, a damage proc, almost double your equip mitigation, and less resist on spells. If you want, you can get manashield as well. I decided to skip it as it really only a panic button, not a regular solo booster.

Magi's Shield is best place to dump those first 10 points. Although I did put one point in my Sorcerer tree first to get my 3 Familiars. STA is the tree I am currently working on.
