With this going to Test: The client is Large Address Aware, meaning that you are much less likely to run out of memory if you have 3GB or more of RAM and are running either the 64-bit versions of Windows or have modified your boot.ini to support 3GB user address space.

What do we do to make sure out 32 bit Vista is ready?
I dont really understand this question?

I am using Vista 64 and 4GB RAM. I have no problems with Vista recognizing and using all 4GB. Make sure your system is patched with all Vista updates. I have not had to install any additional software besides this.

He's asking about 32bit Vista, which won't recognize 4GB of RAM, not 64 bit. Just thought I'd help out. Unfortunately to the OP I don't, and won't, use Vista so I can't tell you what the answer is.

Gotcha.

Then to elaborate, I didnt know there WAS a way to get this to work besides a 64 bit OS. Good luck, but I dont have an answer!!

To turn it on:Open the command prompt by searching for cmd and running itat the command prompt, enter "bcdedit /set IncreaseUserVa 3072"Restart computerto turn it off:open command prompt enter "bcdedit /deletevalue IncreaseUserVa"Restart computerI have 3 GB memory and enabled it, worked fine one day, then crashed as usual in Teren's Grasp. Let's hope the fix in GU 44 works.

Then you might want to change that setting....

Yeah you should run cmd as administrator. Left that step out sorry, as I have UAC turned off.

You should note that 32 bit is 2^32 which yields a max of 4GB. That number includes all memory your CPU can access, so you have to add in your RAM + video card RAM + 640k reserved, etc. There is no way possible for you to realize 4GB of RAM without a 64 bit OS. 3GB is possible, but likely unstable and is a hardware issue not a SOE issue. If you set to 3GB and have a 512MB video card, then you have roughly 500MB left for your system to access before crashing. I would upgrade to a 64 bit OS, set to 2GB for stable running, or set to 3GB for unstable performance(in that order).
