So,I have the Brigand ability maxed out on the Jagged Blade ability" A quick attack that lowers the target's attack speed"It currently states an attack speed reduction of 34. Ok, 34 what, Percent slow like every other MMO I've played? Or does it take off 34 from an attack speed number. Also, I use Turgur's MC poison, does this stack with our slow. Is it truly possible I am slowing a MOB by 60%. I haven't parsed it out, just wondered why the CA would say reduced by 34 and not 34%Thanks in advance,Tethys

<p>As with everything in this game mostly...its relative to "scaling"</p><p>Basically if you use a minus to haste (in this case 34) it subtracts 34 from their haste amount...similar to how you have lower haste when under the influence of "rez effects". As with everything in this game, the amount it lowers is based on what the scale is for the mob or person. </p><p>For example, if you got both the poison (turgurs) and your attack to land on an inquisitor that is self buffed, their haste amount might drop from say 130 to 70. That is NOT a reduction of 60% haste...the actual haste amount varies due to scaling. So the inquistor at 130 might have had 115% actual haste but at 70 had 73% haste...so the "real" drop might be about 40% haste in this example. </p><p>But, say a player had only 30 self haste and you took 60 away, at 30 points worth of haste their real haste is about 35%...so they would go to -30 on haste so (in theory) their real haste should be -35%...a total "real" reduction of 70% haste.</p><p>To make things more complicated some classes like dirges and inquistors have temporary haste buffs which would fluctuate the effectiveness of haste debuffs.</p>
