So, I attempted to tank Maidens again tonight. I had issues with Drusilla the first time I tried, made some changes, and still had problems with her.I have my splitpaw taunt, as well as insinuate master II, my hateful slam is master I, my chastisement is Adept III.I have Idolic axe 8/8 for the 10% hate gain, and avenging invigoration for the 10% faster everything (mainly for taunt speed).I have Siphon hate, as well as all my taunts fully speced including death march.I wear bracers with a 600 hate proc 1.6 times a minute (but when I was there, they were 705 at 2.2 times a minute while buffed), and a 50 hate on damage cloak for this fight.Im just not sure what else I can do that will make a sizable difference in my hate generation enough for her. I was spamming taunts as fast as I could and she was still running off to others in my party. Am I missing something on this fight? Is there some magical way to tank her that Im missing?Ive tanked other zones in kunark with success, but this zone is giving me all kinds of trouble.

<p>Im guessing its your group makeup. Ive been in groups with several successful SK tanks in all KOS zones including MC. Having that Warlock/Coercer/Assassin and whomever else has hate buffs makes a huge difference in ROK tanking.</p>

Not only could it be group makeup but what your group members are doing. DPSers being sloppy and going overboard? Healers spam healing when they don't need to?

I'm guessing group makeup and what they are doing are the main issues as well.

<p>Easy  - </p><p>Her memwipe isn't a memwipe, it's a de-aggro+knockback+snare.</p><p>1. Tank her wedged in corner, i usually use the structural curved wall thing on the left wall as your facing her.</p><p>2. Fight solo through the whole first cycle to build up hate(use all your big dmg starting w all your DoTs) - can let the groupmates kill the pet while you do this</p><p>3. Use Goading and Chastisement spaced out a little bit every time she has the cage up</p><p>This just about prevents the knockback from sending you OOR which in turn prevents her from going nuts on everyone else, this also puts you high enough on the hate list that even if she does manage to send you flying chances are she will stick with you anyway and you can drag her back to the corner.</p><p>Since I started doing it this way I haven't had a problem with her at all. (Other than morons who don't stop attacking)</p>

Those are some nice pointers, Seolta. Both attempts Ive had on her have either been in the room you port into in a corner or on the left side of the room and out in the open, but no one ever mentioned getting wedged in the corner as being helpful. Ill definately try that.I also picked up one of the 77 mastercraft shields with hate on them. So far, I like it.

Well, I managed to take down Drusilla today (Probably the best feeling Ive got this far for a kill in this game so far).Wedged in a corner in the left side of the room was helpful. But even asking for the first three boneshields to be time for me to generate agro, I still had minor problems in that I lost it every so often, but I managed to pull it back with not too much difficulty. I think I popped death march three times, rescue and harm touch, as well as a couple FDs.I was wondering, what other peices of gear do I have an option of getting / working towards with some form of increased hate on them? I would prefer to not have this one kill be a freak accident. I know group make up / player skill has a good deal to do with MC, but Im looking to tone down the difficulty with MC, even if its on my side only.

Dont forget our epic weapon which has a great hate gain on it when we life tap, the tap-veins is a great one to set it off.
