Failed to init font ---- game won't start

I have reinstalled EQII after several months away from the game..  I've gone through the patching but when i select PLAY a message box with the title 'Failed to init font' pops up with the text :"Failed to init Arial. You may need to reboot before some fonts will load."Rebooting does not resolve the problem.I haven't knowingly changed any fonts and I have checked the Windows fonts list and Arial appears to be installed and working.Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Go in to the Preferences, then hit the Full File Scan button.  That should pick up corrupt files and re-download them
