Why was the conj set pants nerfed? It was one of the set items we would actually use and its now one of the least usefull set items along with the cuffs.Replaceing the +7 crit with +5 power is as big of a nerf as can get.We as a class do not need or want more power. Also the focus effect is another useless effect. We dont want or need any more trigger pct added to a melee based proc that already has a base of 20 pct and doesnt stack on a mob because its a DoT effect. So changeing the pants from a item every conj wanted to a item that most any conj would not want when compared to other pants does not make sense. This brings down the set items that would be worn to 3 when compared to other gear choices out their even from lesser tiered raid zones and even heroric zones.Keep the set pants with +7 crit or place a different worth while effect so we would be abkle to atleast take advantage of our 4 set piece bonus.......the only one that is actually worth it as a bonus set effect.Thank you.

I'd have to agree with Bigron here. This piece used to be something to look out for, now it's just an absolute piece of junk. It really has absolutely nothing that is of interest to any raider who's managed to reach the tier that couldn't be found elsewhere. I just recently found out the full crit value of the armor set was reduced from 21 to 14, 7 of which used to be found on these pants IIRC. +5 Max power isn't something of interest, I've no idea why it would be changed to such a thing honestly.Furthermore, the focus effect is utterly useless for reasons described by Bigron, this wouldn't be an issue to me normally, but what makes me object to it is the fact that the Necromancer equivilent has a focus that benefits them more directly. Magma seed isn't something I use, it's just something to give to the Troubadour so he feels special. Please reconsider both the focus and the +5 max power on this piece.

while it makes me sad to see this, werent we the only mage with 21 crit from items? i thought everyone else got 2 pieces with +7, while we got 3. Maybe im mistaken, but this would put us back in line if this is the case. sucks though :/

Or how about why the necro set cuffs were given crit so we lose another piece of gear with crit like the lava channeling cuffs meanwhile our cap has +20 power regen and other mages get crit. Getting 7 crits on 3 pieces was probably too much compared to the other mage sets but changing it to +max power and adding a magma seed focus to it made it a major nerf. Could do with some useful focus effect to one of our nukes or something for pet, right now it's of marginal value and definitely not something one would hope to see on the set that comes from Veeshan's Peak. edit: Making magma seed a dd and go off from spells would make those legs focus useful however! And add conjurers some more value in groups in raid!

I would KILL to see Magma seed turned into a DD spell proc it would be awesome as all hellMaybe make it like a 2.0 times a minute proc (since 20-30% is too powerful) I BEG OF DEVS TO CONSIDER THIS FOR THE LOVE OF CONJIES - It's not making us too powerful since it can be cast group wide and shared amongst all!

Yes, The focus on the pants is completely lame and really needs changed. Well actually, the Magma seed spell line itself needs changed. As previously mentioned, it is a DoT so doesn't stack at all, and it is a really long duration DoT at that.Conjy's already have an AA option to increase the trigger rate of the Seed line (which is a total waste of points as is) and now you are giving them a Focus for the same spell which will but totally useless as well?

Thats really poor design and implementation.either change the focus to affect one of their other spells, or, even better, change the Seed spell line all together.Make it a DD once again (so increasing trigger chance both by AA and by set Focus is actually useful) and even making it so that it has a proc chance off of ANY attack (melee AND spells) would be even better.

Why do the devs always insist on boosting Magna Seed (and all its prior versions)? At this point I was this spell was deleted from our spell book. At least this way you could concentrate on other set gear effects that would actually do something for our class.

Magna Seed could have some good potential, but as it stands now, it has so very little. Evidently, you devs understand this, which is why you insist on trying to boost it; every tier we get new set gear. All you succeed in is taking a useless spell and make it just as useless. Unless you want to change Magna Seed, to actually make it a useful spell, please delete this from our set gear.

We were very happy with the set pants the way they were. If you don't want us to have extra spell crit, then please put the focus into something else besides Magna Seed. You have obviously gone thru the trouble to create set gear for all the classes. Let's try and actually make the gear useful enough that people will wear it.

the 3x7crit VP peices was an oversight, the only question was which piece was the going to get nerf bat making it hard for people to spend dkp.

Still, the pants should have a focus that is highly useful for conjies to compensate. I wont say I have much sympathy tho since the 6 set necro bonus totally blows....

And the Conjy 6 piece bonus is any better? The only one that we really see any benefit from is the 4 piece bonus.

Well it'd be awesome to see the spell turned back to it's former self then and then have the focus effect allow it to proc off hostile spells

Any developments on this yet?

Or possibly could we get a Dev to comment on the Focus effect for Cony set pants?

well time to break out those MO pants again.nothing like killing the 2nd to last boss mob who is a challenge to give something that has a worse effect then t1 gear. woot +5 power uber for a hard 2nd to last named in vp... plsThey should have just left the +7 on these pants and nerfed the gloves to have a dmg proc equal to that of the gloves of harrowing strike from FTH.woot risk vs reward once again borked... please rethink this change sony...

Right, doubt this has been changed in any way on test? Probably not gonna happen anyways, with all the other major changes going on, these "little" one class touching problems get ignored as history shows. Won't give up hope just yet though. There's also that feedback command that can be used if this garbage goes live.

This effect would be awesome if the Devs would fix Magma Seed. The more i think about it, this effect would truly rock if Magma Seed was a direct damage proc on any type of hostile attack. I would rather them fix the spell then give us another focus effect. Giving us a new effect doesnt change the fact that the spell sucks. Do the Devs even know how truly borken Magma Seed is? Increasing the proc rate on the spell in its current version does absolutely jack for the spell. How about some dev "feedback" from your "In Testing Feedback" forum?

I really hope a dev has had a chance to look at these pants....as has been stated...they will be unwearable if they go live as they are. Currently we can have magma seed on two people at a time...base trigger is 20%....As a dot..lasting for 16 seconds....it is almost ALWAYS on the mob. SOOoo...increasing the trigger to 30% gives us what?....50% higher chance to overwrite the dot....netting us 0% increase in dmg!!! There are mebe 2-3 encounters in all of RoK that are not solo mobs...making the blooming flames portion of the spell completely void. Seriously....either put the crit back on the pants...or take a long hard look at magma seed itself. TBH...you could take away the AE portion of the spell....make the dot dmg DD....and make it trigger from what the majority of the people in a conjurors group are gonna be doing...CASTING SPELLS. As a bare minimum I think most conjurors would be happy with that change. imo....you should leave the AE portion, as its almost voided by the amount of solo mobs in RoK anyway......make the Dot dmg DD and have it % trigger off ANY successful attack (melee/casting). I know im just repeating what has been said....just wanting to make sure you get the point....% increase of magma seed trigger in its current form.... gains us NOTHING. Why....am I wanting to wear the summoner pants over these?
