I am very excited on the changes coming up (especially the gear) but I am still a little bummed out about things (even though all the info might not be added in the test update post)...would really appreciate if any devs can look into anything for us...Fellow Monks =DPlease of all the raiding monks that read this will probably agree with me. Please look into our AA's for specialization like other classes. Their is absolutely really no "DPS" spec or a "Tank Spec" but a little Utility which isnt that great. STR has become useless now which is disappointing and our Mythical which I could of sworn was supposed to help raid wise...Well chain mitigation isnt really helping since the dmg spikes are ridiculous and Strikethrough you can barely see make a difference. Love the stats proc is cool, but you have us 2 semi not helping us much for a raid. Can we get a real true answer? Are we meant to be DPS or OT's? We need an answer! Because the way I see we are a low dpsing buff bot. Thanks, appreciate it if you read this post and look into it - Fellow monks who raid and understand this dont make long post just go AYE! (Monks who dont raid like I do STAY OUT OF IT! K Thx)

After checking on test server, I would say that the change of vp itemization is in the right direction for brawler. It looks like developers finally got a clue of realty that even brawler is fighter but we rarely tank in high end raid. Our major role in raid is dps as other dpsers.Take it or not, as long as there are plate tanks, it is stupid to let brawler tank since we have less on both uncontested avoidance and mitigation than plate tanks. However, some whining dpsers started to whine and troll on brawler only Gi on eq2flames. It's ridiculous when assassin got most overpowered mythical epic and they kept whining and trolling on brawler or monk gear, such as the nerf on our mythical epic. Our mythical epic is a junk comparing to assassin mythical. I wish developers can keep their decision this time rather than changing their mind by whiners. This game isn't made for whining assassins only. Brawler dps is totally screwed in vp or higher encounters. You gave us a small fix of our dps by itemization, please don't screw it again.

Im quite happy with how my abilitys work .There is always room for improvement but too much and there becomes unbalancing .Then other classes complain and the nerf bat descends.SOE is infamous in its over reactions to responces from its player base, which id not like my monk to be on the end.

It's Finallynice to see some good loot comming from VP. *fingers crossed* we can keep the new gi of swirling lava.

Its a shame to see our relic set focuses/bonuses are still lacking and if the 4 set bonus to Flow like wind is the same +10 skills/haste crap thats been complained about since T7 then the person responsible should be hit in the face with a devestation fist.

I made a thread in testing feedback of monk revamped vp set. Please come and post your opinions to get it fixed before it goes to live server.http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/...topic_id=412540

That's why there is a revamp on vp itemization.

It's still not considered gear used by the majority of the brawlers.
