Wizard class set changes

Waiting for the patch for the test server to finish but i watching WW wizard chat....Focus Blip on the chest piece.  PLz tell you have some capable ppl there SOE blip?????Might as well but a focus on Dispel magic and peak shift.  Sorry but this again shows how SOE doesnt even know there classes Blip???? plz tell me i am in the twilight zone!!!???ok maybe if it was an amount that matter it wouldnt be so bad...but 600 is far from enough to matter more like 6k or more!!

The set changes aren't all that inspiring. The changes really only make one more piece desirable - the pants. Conveniently that also then makes up the required number of pieces for the (4) set bonus.And that's where I will leave it at, since I probably have better access to items than most people aspiring to acquire this set.However, I will comment on the robe - that is a big proverbial slap in the face for wizards without access to the avatar robe(s). An extra 600 deagro to our "Blip" line may look interesting and innovative "on paper", especially since sorcerers have the largest agro management issues of all classes. However, in practice, sorcerers' hate management issues are a much deeper issue, that can't be solved with a simple attempted "patch up job" like this.In short, the Focus: Blip needs to be dropped from our set robe (dropped by Trak if it needed stressing any more), and replaced with something that actually would provide a tangible increase to dps (our primary role in raids and groups) for those without access to contested gear. If you want to address the sorcerers' hate management issues, then you ought to look elsewhere for solutions.

I agree with Daray the pants are the only piece worth trying for. The 2 piece bonus is a joke and is found on many other mage items not unique to are class. The 4 piece bonus is a maybe but chances are what I will loose from lower tier gear will not make up for it to be worth wearing. The 6 piece no one will ever go for. The robe is a joke and very sad seeing it drops from Trak you would think you all could do better.  Focus to Blip will not help enough to be worth caring about. Please look at this set and make it more unique to us and geared for DPS.Another item that is a issue is Pants of Volatile Power having the 5% reuse changed to soulsiphion proc. Those pants are VP loot they should be better then VS legs if anything add some +spell damage or crit to current design. If they loose the reuse most will just be selling them and trying for VS legs till they get set gear. Guilds who take awhile to clear VP should have some kind of mage pants to strive for till set pattern drops and with so many sharing patterns it will take some a long time to get set pants.~Claudine~Wizzy of Permafrost

Two-piece set bonus is just a nonsense!This bonus is shared with at least two other SINGLE items from VP.Why not another spell focus? Fission or anything else useful?This bonus not even to be considered as bonus at all - it is just a luck of imagination of devs.
