You are right. They just don't get it. The only ones who are finishing writs in 3 minutes are the ones that are raid pvpn which is not my cup of tea. I'm not going to bash their style of play if they find that enjoyable but it doesn't appeal to me at all. The writ timers was the straw that broke this camels back. I really love this game but I'm done for a while. I'll just check notes occasionally to see if they finally do get it but I seriously doubt it.

The updates notes state: "Fixed an issue causing writs to reset their timers." Actually the problem that you describe, that was causing the delay after you turn in a writ, got fixed. Now the timer will start running when you pickup the writ, not when you turn in. l2read ?

<hr />"<span class="postbody">The timer is supposed to be from when you first accept the quest.  There was an error in the script that did that causing it to sometimes restart the timer.  That is fixed internally so that it shouldn't reset anymore.  In addition to that I lowered the reuse time to 10 minutes between taking the writs.  I don't have a specific time on the update but it should be relatively soon." -- Aeralik</span><hr /><span class="postbody">Note how the new update notes say that they "</span><span class="postbody">Fixed an issue causing writs to reset their timers"? </span>

Idd, I handed one writ in, and picked on up instantly. Even tho the writ dude didn't have a reg flag above his head I asked anyway and got one. I wasn't going to mention it to anyone <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />.
