Question about in-game lag.

<p>Okay i just downloaded this game yesterday after 3 years of WoW raiding, and I must say I really enjoy the game play and versatility of EQ2 so far. </p><p>But I currently am standing in Neriak and it seems like the lag is quite a bit more than I'm use to. All my comp hardware is over req and I haven't really had much lag in my first 5 hours of play in the open world, but now in town it seems almost unbarable. Is this a regular issue, and if so how is any type of raiding possible in-game because in the middle of the night, i'm only surrounded by NPC's.</p><p> Is this a regular thing?</p>

Neriak has serious lag issues. That is known.   Just like Quenos Harbor having it since launch.Overall in the rest of the zones performance is quite okay and lagfree tho.Also, when a lot of players are gathered (like at brokers) then your PC gets quite a beating too.You can optimise it a bit to play around with the graphic settings (amount of detailed chars to be drawn and such).Cheers
