The game crashed last night around midnight Eastern time. I had just done the following with my characters.

Silken made three adept 3 warden spells: Holding Vines, Underbrush, and Aspect of Bat.

One of these spells was a first time combine.

I don't remember how many fire emeralds I had to start and didn't look when I finished. I had been saving them for quite some time and knew I had many.

Silken then rearranged her equipment. Putting back on adventuring cloak and removing crafting tools.

She rearranged the fuels in house vault and put them in alphabetical order.

She put the spells in the shared bank.

I log Silken in new "bank" in SQ.

Logged on character Alessia, the warden.

Alessia retrieved and scribed the spells in Danak Shipyard.

Prepared to do some crafting in Danek. She put her hex dolls in inventory and equipped crafting tools.

Alessia was standing at sewing machine in Danak when game crashed.

Now, 5AM Eastern, I log Alessia on.

Alessia materializes outside Danak.

Her inventory is overflowing. Hex dolls are now in overflow slot.

She no longer has the three adept 3 spells that she had just scribed before the crash.

Spells are not in bank.

I log Silken back on to see what she now has. She materialized in new bank in SQ.

She doesn't have the spells.

Her recipe book shows that Holding Vines as been created at least once. Remember, that was a first time combine for her at midnight.

Her house vault bag with fuels now has fuels in alphabetic order as she left them after she made the adept 3 spells.

Silken now has only four fire emeralds.

Where are the spells? If rollback was to prior to Silken making them, then fuels should not be neatly arranged and recipe book should not show that Holding Vines was made. If that were the case I would just have gone on to re-make the spells, suspecting nothing. I'd eventually have wondered why I was low on fire emeralds, but that would be some time in the future.

Can someone explain how this rollback after midnight changed some things to as they were before midnight but left other things as they were after midnight, during which process I lost three adept 3 spells?

Can this be fixed?

your best bet is making a petition and hoping their logs wherent negatively affected by the outage.

You are going to need to use the ingame support tab on this page: http://soe-ing.custhelp.com/cgi-bin...ser/std_alp.php

Can I use that from here? It looks like I can.

I filled out the form. Put in category, subcategory and all the information. System keeps wiping out category and subcategory and then telling me they are required fields.

The usual cause of the issue is due to a firewall or your browser itself due to the security settings being to high and an old cookie with old information that needs to be removed. When you choose Everquest II, system inserts All in category and opens box under Everquest II. However, it doesn't want you to leave all in the category field. You have to change that. Then you get a fourth box for the subcategory.

I got the report submitted. Thank you.

Thurs night, March 20. GM restored the spells to my warden. They verified my problem from the logs and put the spells in warden's book. Sent a nice letter in the petition thing too. Thanks SOE,
