An Ornate Maj'dul Carpet Card Concern

Some how, even though it reads 50% on personal screen, this carpet is doing much slower then advertised.  I can't tell if its an illusion effect but the back of my head wants to say something.Somehow i feel this mount is not moving as it should, i saw a running edulite with only pathfiding 16% running faster then i while chasing it down (sprint was not actived)  Earlyer, running away from a gank attempt, i find out that the player can catch up to me even though he was engaged (no sprint once more).Does anyone else have this feeling?

If you're engaged the speed buff drops.  Some players such as furys and bards have in combat speed boosts also, could be a PVP only issue but id guess if its showing your 50% speed then its probably working correctly but the other players have a buff or totem you're not seeing.
