SoE left their DPS chart made with the Combat revamp ?

<p>Duno if you guys remember when they made the big combat revamp system (think it was in the first year of EQ2). They also made a char listing exactly where each class should stand in the DPS department while doing their job (Tanking, healing dpsing etc)</p><p>In that list the very buttom where all priest about equal damage.</p><p>Then guard/ pally</p><p>Then SK/ Zerker</p><p>Then monk/bruiser</p><p>and finaly all the other class on top of them at different dmanage Tier (think warlock and wizzy where suposed to be T1 DPS but I am not sure on that one).</p><p>That lsit was meant to be true for end-game only claiming doing such a balance at lower lvl would just be a PITA.</p><p>But I am doing if it still true ? I keep hearing that guardian out dps easely any zerker and SK vs single encounter and many zerker cry that guardian even out dps them in multiple encounter fight (but the zerkers seem to whine a lot for nothing so).</p><p>So well is SoE still use that chart to balance class DPS ?</p>

I clearly remember when they made the whole tier list, largely because my only character of significance at the time was an Assassin and I was more or less dps obsessed.  I would assume they still use that tier list as their basis for class balance but in all honesty the applicability of it to the current balance situation is questionable at best.  The real question I am left with is whether that list takes into account the usual raid setup with buffs etc.  For example the dps output of a Guardian seems to deviate by a lot from what you would assume given the dps tier list.

I was so [Removed for Content] off when I found that our MT warrior would be with the none pure DPS class while tanking. And thy where simpyl in the pure DPS range while not beeing in defencive stance (they where a little behind rogues, berseker, monk).</p><p>its just not balanced if a class is clearly made to be the best tank (don,t tell me the crap that your class can do bether in X situation, Guardian is a pure tank). But also beeing in the top 20% fo the DPS class.</p><p>This is kinda like if a templar could out dps a wizzy when he is not asked to heal. yeah in WoW priest can out dps mage but WoW suk also.</p>
