I was previously using a USB headset, but changed to a logitech mic with standard headphones. I can hear most things in game, however I cannot hear voice overs. I hear myself running, spells, etc.. but if i try emotes or hailing someone, I do not hear that chat. I checked my sound options, all are at half or more, and the only thing that changed is i went from usb headset to just headphones (which is the same setting within EQ). I also tried using speakers instead of headphones and got this same issue.

Any suggestions?

are you using dolby surround as the sound field?

Maybe your headset had support for surround sound and the voice overs are using the rear speaker which your headset can emulate? Im not really sure.. Try using miles fast if you aren't already and see if it makes a difference?

Nope, its set as Miles Fast , but I did try Dolby to see if either way would work... but neither works.

Hmm. Appears relogging fixed this issue. Quite odd.
