Does anyone know if Vekin has been buffed up recently? He seemed much tougher than normal last night.

Think the only thing that wasn't removed was my stance and my siphon hatred. Vekin along with the other mobs seemed to fear alot more as well.

There was 1 mob I think it was the one on the left if you come from the librarian that put an impairment on me. Took 1 second for that impairment to kill me so makes me think it was a charm.

It's common to do full rebuffs after the fight.

We were having some strange RNG issues last night, had one loot roll with 5 rolls over 900, 3 of them over 950. If you had the same stickyness going, it might have just been Vekin beating your resists due to the rolls.

Nah, I ran it last night and it was a breeze to get through the whole zone, even did the General with 1 healer whereas a lot of the time I take 2.

Couple things to note about him:

Debuffs go in the reverse order of which you cast your buffs for the most part. Make your last few buffs you cast fast casting buffs and pay attention and rebuff durring the fight (tanks). I usually cancel all my buffs and recast in an order that is better for losing them just before the pull.

If you don't want to end up running across the room with the fear, turn off auto run (shift + r) before you start, and if you want to make it even better crouch at the same time, for those who aren't fear immune, or use abilities that root you in place (warden's sandstorm or whatever it's called, the defense buff/stun, it will root you in place and you won't run off durring the fear)

The more you dispell, stifle and stun him the easier he is. If you can perma stun him you'll have a much easier time. Rooting him in place helps if he drops off the tank on you a lot. The rogue AA Traumatic Swipe on him will lessen the amount of times he uses special abilities like fear etc.

Make the tank take him to a corner, don't fight him in the middle of the room and everyone who can range the fight.

I did not notice any changes in him lastnight, he's about the same as he ever was.

Yeah, I know how to fight him. Just seemed like he was cutting through my avoidance and resists as if they were nonexistent. Our Paladin tried and had an even worse time tanking him. Eh, probably just a fluke that night.

Had no problem then and the CoA group I did as the tank had 2 healers + 3 great dps.

He seemed rather debuff happy stripping everything off and even fearing me then doing a complete mem wipe to a new target. Just glad I had death march up to regain aggro on him.

Fight isn't "Uber hard", but did seem more difficult than the last couple of times i've faced him.

Hm .. the last two times i was in there with my new swashy, and had absolutly no problem even since our tank was only 77 or 78.

Only thing that wasn't debuffed was his stance and I think his Siphon Hate. Other than that his hate/dmg shield, group sta/spell buff and his dmg/health proc was debuffed.

Ran CoA lastnight with 2 Monks, 2 healers, 1 zerk and 1 assassin and had zero issues. In fact for the group make up he was a breeze.
