Is T-7 Fabled valid in T-8?

Is the T-7 fabled gear valid for ROK?  I recently was part of a raid into MMIS in which we killed Mayong. This was first time for me, even at level 80 and about 50 plus raids into MMIS! Mayong dropped the Tunic of the Sacred Grove which was awarded to me as I was the only warden in the raid.However, I noticed the Focus is for Winds of Arctic Cold, a level 60 spell; and spells of Subzero, level 67; Greater Chloroplast, level 68; and Sacred Grove, a grp member large heal - with greater numbers of the 7 piece set.Since I am level 80, all of those spells have been upgraded to RoK appropiate spells in either Adept 3s (17), or Masters (12).So, outside of the 38int, 180H and 180PWR, and MIT 320; the rest of the stats are lower than what I currently have from RoK loot of chest pieces.However, if the increased enhancements apply to higher level spells of the same line, then perhaps the T-& fabled gear would be of better use in RoK.Does anyone know if those enhancements of those spells apply? <p>Yep, you make perfect sense.</p><p>7 pieces of Legendary T8 > 7 pieces of EoF Fabled, sadly.   I  am wearing my Sacred Grove set in my appearance slot - since it's pretty.  The heal bonus is not better than T8 upgraded spells and +heal items.  Even treasured items have better stats in a few cases than the EoF fabled set pieces.  </p><p>Disappointing, I know.    It's good armor to wear till probably 77 or 78, but there are better, legendary, pieces to wear.   And they enhance the T7 versions of the spells.  If they are supposed to enhance upgrades as well, then it's broken ...cause they don't.</p><p>P.S. Grats on killing Mayong!  He should die..repeatedly..</p>

<p>Careful with that!  </p><p>First of all, I think the items are marked for level 68 or so...you wouldn't get a T8 mana.  Secondly, if you go to MMIS, kill Mayong, get your BP and have it transmuted..next time you go, it might drop again and someone else on the raid wouldn't get theirs.   The T7 Fabled and Legendary check against the inventories of everyone on the raid and drop the item for someone who doesn't have it.</p><p>Granted, most on the raid might have better, but if you have even ONE low level 70 that might use it, you've possibly screwed them out of it if you do that.</p><p>Better to just put it in your appearance slot or in the bank!</p>
