View Full Version : Forum Functionality Request - Ignore

In light of recent activity, it occurs to me that one really great forum function that would make visiting these forums all the more enjoyable for me (and I'm sure others) is /ignore.Any chance we could get that ability so folks that don't want to don't even have to see my prattle? Personally I think it would also cut down on the amount of moderation required as well. Just a thought.

Just a thought.</blockquote>This has been in the stickied issues list for awhile.Nice to have I suppose, but posters capable of having constructive discussions without bludgeoning each other usually don't need such tools.  Posters that do feel the need to bludgeon each other probably will find themselves unwelcome here eventually anyway.

Meh. Reading comprehension FTL. I suppose even if it were implemented, if you were always fighting with AshHat* and ignored AshHat it would still probably show you that AshHat has responded to your post and curiosity would get the better of you and you'd unignore AshHat and reply and nothing would really change. *Purely fictional name for the purpose of demonstration, apologies if there's a real person called that.
