Subscription

I just went out and bought the Rise of Kunark. It's supposed to have a 30 day subscription included but its asking me to subscribe when I try to log in. Ive gone to the station and entered the Activation key and on that long list of stuff that was unlocked from the key it said 30 day subscription. Do I need to subscribe with a credit card anyway so they have something to back up after the free subscription is done? Sorry if I'm in the wrong forum but its an issue Id like to have addressed soon. <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/499fd50bc713bfcdf2ab5a23c00c2d62.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" width="15" height="15" />

When you put in credit information for a subscription, you will not be charged. After 30 days you will be charged for whatever subscription you select in that process, unless you cancel it beforehand (WHich I'm quite sure you can do)

If you're setting up a new account and want to play the 30 day free trial, you will need to subscribe by entering a credit card or game card.  Once you login to the game, the 30 free days initializes.  If you decide not to continue the subscription, cancel within the 30 day period and you will not be charged.  If you use a game card, there is no cancellation needed as the time is limited based on the game card you entered.   If you fail to cancel the account you will be charged the selected subscription fee at the end of the trial.  This is a recurring charge as well, so until it's canceled it will continue.
