Granted, it was not announced in game, but the Network Status had it listed hours ago.... *shrugs* Just one of those days... I hope that you did well on your combine, at least if you didnt, then you now get the rare back

gah, some of us don't use eq2 players.. I refuse to pay extra for something that should be free. Why is this info only posted on eq2 players just like the 9hr outage the other day. Should not at very least be posted on the eq2 forums as well?

[Removed for Content]. I'm just glade it isn't just me. I just payed for the full game two days ago & I get a entire free year out of it. I don't get how they can make money that way. But this happens too often as I just got done with the trial of WOW & this started to take place as sever, after servers went down. Maybe it's me. But when the servers come back up, the fay & flying carpets better be able to free fly?

I have no issues with the downtimes. I imagine there are problems that need to be fixed. But I just wish they would get both places that show server status in sync. I logged in this morning without reading the forums first or checking the status on the players page but instead checking it on the update thingie on the log in screen and it said all servers are up. So I log in thinking nothing of it and get a message that the client's version does not match the server's....blah blah blah. So I freak thinking ok what happened now? Thankfully I see now that its not just me lol.

OMG what to do with one's self for one whole hour???? Peruse the forums for interesting tidbits? Search the Internet for random things that I have been meaning to look up? Read and reply to my emails? Walk down memory lane on YouTube? Make some more coffee? Help Elorah find the Easter Bunny? The possibilities are endless lol.

Just because someone does not feel like checking it or may even thinks it is too much work does not give that person the right to complain. Any halfway serious player will check the site for a network downtime BEFORE playing the game. Moreover, NO serious player will EVER do anything critical at 7am PT as that is the established server downtime...and just because the downtimes have become a little less frequent then they used to be does not mean the time frame will and is not used to reset the servers. It used to be a common occurrence 5-6 days a week at 7am PT the servers came down period. I.M.H.O. and as I know many seasoned players feel the same....nothing has changed and nobody in his right mind who is even a bit serious playing this game will plan anything critical at that time. Even if there is NO announcement of server down time/J.C.
