We're working on Veeshan's Peak and we're sometimes having multiple people crash to desktop in a single pull. Its never been this bad. The lag was bad last night, but people weren't LD'ing. Now, the LD's are through the roof, but there is otherwise no lag.agressiv

We just did our last pull of Druushk. 3 LDs within the first 2 minutes of the pull. And most of the people that went LD have never had problems before. We had to call the raid. agressiv

We had people constantly crashing (each time a different person) fighting Elder Ekron too. Lag in VP is a serious problem given the difficulty of the encounters in particular.

Crashing at Elder Ekrond has always been a problem, because of the memory leak. I pitty anyone if they wipe in that area, because you'll need to relog just about your whole raid to avoid crashes during the next pull. Some care needs to be put in to that area to fix it.

For Elder Ekron, the memory leaks are caused by particle effects. You should turn those off for that fight, it makes a huge difference./r_particle_priority -1To turn them back on,/r_particle_priority 1We were getting EQ2 client errors (not memory related) just while fighting Druushk, but we did have a few LD's on random trash in the zone as well.agressiv

We had the same issue with Elder Ekron - people went LD in minute-intervals and even restarting did not help for long. Many (most?) had framerates below 10 and there was not a single pull with someone not going linkdead :/Will try /r_particle_priority -1 next time Please look into this!

/r_particle_priority -1 works well in VP, especially on Ekron. It's not recommended however for the people who harvest at Nexona or do the Druushk statue clickies. We did notice the other night though that there were a disproportionate number of LDS at Druushk. In fact, I don't think we managed a single pull where at least one or two people didn't end up going LD. I also noticed there was a lot of lag concentrated around the stairs just below Druushk's room. A lot of people in our raid were complaining about abnormal spell and CA lag when fighting in that area.

Maybe the latest batch of client errors is sony's way of spicing up an encounter.. u know the new tweaks now include direct client error messages to your machine so now you not only gotta fight nexona you have to keep you PC alive in RL as well...

I like the new encounters they are a challenge and fun to work through. Now if these darn errors would get fixed that would be nice... An occasional LD is understandable.. but when you touch an add and 1-3 people come over vent saying client error within 3 seconds of each other consistently.. something aint right.. Oh ya its not the same people either.. Frustrating to say the least.

Yeah we lost half our healers in Protector's Realm lastnight mid fight. Needless to say, we wiped. I was boxing my warden and my laptop got the "Everquest II client has encountered an error" and lunched on me.

This is getting ridiculous can we get a response or acknowledgment that there is a problem - Elder Ekron is the huge problem - even running on Doom level graphics we are losing multiple people multiple times. This is stupid.

We're not up to VP in our raid alliance yet, but we had an unusual amount of LD/crashing this weekend as well. Our group does one raid Friday night, two raids Saturday, four hour sessions or so each. Our Friday session we had two healers go LD and not able to get back in with Venril Sathir. We decided to bail and do Protector's Realm after picking up two people to fill the spot. In protector's, we had another healer go LD about once every 10 to 15 minutes, although she always came back in the zone, not outside.

Saturday wasn't quite as bad, although near the end of our Kor-Sha run we lost one of our bards due to going LD and not being able to come back.

We just lost 6 different people to LD's/boot to character select on one pull of Nexona.Thats just rediculous. We can't handle losing that many people on a pull. Please say that something will be done about this.agressiv

At the very least, please allow people who went LD to re-join the raid. Forcing them to stay out and watch from the sidelines does not help.agressiv
