View Full Version : Why do certain player races still have extremely limited voice options?

Lets take Ogre for example... They only have one actual voice option, a Berserker who digs Rallos and has obviously taken one too many knocks on their head. Why do they only get one choice, when other races are basically choking on the choices given them? If the tallest Barbarians & tiniest of gnomes can share voices, there is no reason to keep other races in a deafening bubble of silence. Heck the Mike Tyson factor alone should be enough to convice anyone that the generic voices should be available to all races. I am not asking for new voice recordings, my proposal is simple... That all generic voices (the ones that aren't race specific) be given access to all races period.

that would be nice.. I get tired of the High Elf Voices, even the gruff ones sound like an english professor..

Heh, iksar and arasai seem dimly limited on voice-over options as well, but my humans have a ton of them to choose from.

Yeah, that would be nice to see happen. Just giving them the generic voices would be a great improvement.

Did anyone notice that some of the NPC's in town now run around and say new random stuff?

(( YES!!! OGRES HAVE 1 VOICE OPTION!!!(Why is that??? It's the only race with ONE (1) option!!!! (either that or silent!)Its NOT FAIR!!!Even "brute male and female' would suit ogres. What gives? (Isnt the curse lifted, so we can be smart too?)
