I, too, am still getting this error as of this morning, anyone know what's up with the service?

Still unavailable, it would be nice to get a comment from SOE as to when this might be available again.

I just got off the phone with soe tech. They are trying to work on the issue. Apparently when they did maintence recently  a few of there service programs broke and there trying to fix it but as of yet they do not have an eta on when it will be back up. They are looking into it though (. I am kinda upset myself as i  have been  trying to get xfer for last 2 weeks now.

Just tried and got an error....took me to a Apache webserver error page. Also when selecting Character and server to transfer to, the drop down box for the server is empty.

Unable to transfer a character from server to server.The eq2players character transfer services forms complete, I receive an email saying that the transaction has been received and then within minutes receive another email saying the transaction canceled due to either a Service Violation or a Generic Problem and to try again later.Well, I've tried four times over the past twelve hours and still receiving the same emails when I try to transfer a character.

Make sure your broker is empty and that all containers on the borker have been removed. Also make sure you do not have any items sitting in your mailbox. Then try again.
