BUMP This really pisses me off to. Is one of my primary spells and I cast it every fight. This definitely should have been upgraded.

BUMP!!!!!This is a fixed value ability. It decreases dps by x amount ( I forget the exact amount atm)This was and still is a core ability. I still cast this spell nearly every fight. It does suck imo that one of our core abilities did not get an upgrade for RoK.

This is one of those abilities they will not upgrade due to being a percent based. We also (along with Mystics) didn't get an upgrade to our Umbral line either. If they did upgrade this ability, we would get literally 0.5 extra attack speed debuff (if that) per level. So that wasn't worth taking up one of our spell slots. I'm agreeing it sucks, but it's one of those cases where the upgrade would barely be noticeable if they did give in and create one. Fulginous Whip is much weaker than our Abasement line, but if you look at the upgrade over previous versions, it is very, very weak. It at least has a damage component which is worth upgrading for. But the slow component hardly is.

On a side note, Abasement isn't resisted any more due to being a "grey" spell. There is no level based resist adjustment for that particular spell line.

EDIT: This spell is a percentage based ability. It is just on a diminishing returns curve, but it is still very much percentage based when it is applied to the code. This works the same way as player "haste". If you put your mouse over your haste stat, you will get the cooresponding haste percent. The attack speed portion of abasement works the exact same way.
