Need Help! Very Desperate! Everytime I hit "Play" nothing happens

Hello, I've been trying to play the game for the last few days on my computer (was able to play game on friends computer). Everytime I hit the paly button it looks like the game is about to come up, but then it doesn't. Any suggestions. I've tried doing a lot of things to try and fix it, but it seems nothing works right now.

While I agree with the above poster, I am curious.  When you push play.. you say 'nothing happens'..Does the launch pad go away or does literally NOTHING happen?
