I just Exiled and found out that Smite Evil won't work anymore. Ok I heard that it might not work on good classes (which is also pretty stupid since in PvP I can't choose to fight only evil aligned classes) but it doesn't work against mobs anymore - I'm pretty sure it worked against mobs before, even when they were not undead. Call me stupid if it doesn't work against mobs at all, but I'm 99% sure that it did damage against any mob I fought so far!

I believe it says in the tooltips who it doesn't work on. It doesn't work on citizens of Qeynos or Kelethin, it doesn't work on paladins, monks, templars, rangers and any other class that's good only that I am forgetting. It works on undead even if they are one of the particular classes.

It should really be called "Smite nongood" because it works on anything else. In practice this hardly ever comes up in PVE. There are a few paladin mobs here and there, the gold and silver dragons in the DoF expansion come to mind. There are some monk mobs in a few places in KoS.

In PVP you wouldn't think it would come up because you'd have to be good to be a paladin. I guess you found a way around that restriction by becoming an Exile. In your case it still works, just not against the good folks and this is something you'd have to suffer through.

Well I agree, you laugh at me cause I want to use 'Smite Evil' but in fact it really works on 99% of the mobs in PVE, even non-aggro mobs...Well this just shows that SOE wants us Pallies to either raid or pvp, but not both.
