Hi, I have a couple of questions for you guys. I have a level-30 Swashbuckler. I was fortunate to get my level-20 armor with the help of guildies, but man, the level-20 armor looks kinda ugly! So, I was wondering what's a good set of appearance armor for a female Half Elf redhead? Please keep in mind that I'm a guy, so it'd be good if the set looked "nice" from a male perspective. Also, I'm wondering about the difference between sword and axe. Right now I'm dual-wielding a sword and an axe. Aside from the damage type - slashing vs. piercing - is there any substantial difference between the two? Also, which one looks better on a Swashbuckler? Personally, I'm partial to swords. Thanks in advance!

As you noted, one of the main things is to keep both slashing and piercing maxed for skill. You never know when you will want to switch.

Beyond that, it is just pure damage rating, procs and stats.

One thing to make sure of is that the delay of the two weapons you use are the same. That way they stay "in phase". Makes it a whole lot easier to time mashing the Combat Art buttons and doing normal attack damage. As you get higher level and start to accumalate lots of haste and crit ability. You will want to look for the sweet spot of high damage weapons with a 4 second delay.

Thanks, Astiri! Anyone got any advice on the armor appearance question?

well until you hit like lv 60 and can find a really good 1 handed fable that makes up for duel wielding for poison procs Id just stay with an axe and sword that pierces. Always want to keep both up. Plus my swashy looks bad [Removed for Content] charging in with both. Like a migit conan or something.Other than that just look at the broker and use the cntr and click to look and see how clothes will look on you and then equip em in appearance.
