This has been a problem since I bought RoK last month. The game keeps crashing and the crashes are getting more frequent. Today I just started up my computer and loaded EQ2 and after about ten seconds it crashed. I did a full file scan and then loaded the game up again and it crashed once more after about a minute. This is getting very frustrating as I am unable to play. This is a direct link to the screenshot I took of the error. I'm not sure on the rules about posting images so it's just the URL.http://img403.imageshack.us/img403/...eq2errorxc9.png

Try re adding the game to your security software's exception list. Also try backing up and removing the following files from your EQ2 directory. Then log in and let the patcher get new versions of them. If that does not work, report back here.cache folderUI foldereq2_recent.inieq2_default.iniEverQuest2.exe and all files named after the character with which you're having this issue. The character specific files will appear as such:Servername_CharacterName_EQ2_uisettings.iniSt ationname_characters.iniTo do this please follow these directions:1. First look for your EverQuest II directory. You can find the directory in the default directory:2. Click on MY COMPUTERCRIVEPROGRAM FILESSONYEVERQUEST II3. Next look for any files explained above and delete them.4. Afterwards, please start EverQuest II to have these files re-downloaded by the patcher.

It's still happening. I was told previously it may be because my machine is running hot but I put the GPU fan to 100% and it was about 56 celcius. I don't know what else to do.
