returning to pvp server - good or bad?

I am coming back to eq2 after a year or so and im wondering if i should go on back to the pvp servers or stay away from them due to any game updates that could of ruined pvp more than people were saying it already was.I love pvp - and im starting a new character with a couple of friends on a new account.   Is Nagafen still active that i will be able to find a group most of the time?  Or should i just stick to PvE?

<p>PVP is very fun while leveling in low- mid tiers..they are having issues at end tier but im sure SoE will have it resolved shortly</p><p>sounds like you already have the group question answered if you are coming with a couple friends</p>

If you dont get at least decent gear, you will die, and a lot. It seems that is the one thing most new players complain about.
