Zone's will not load

<p>i've been trying to log into the game since the update and usualy get as far as the loading zone info screen, a few times it gets as far as loading zone entities but then nothing happens and i end up back to char select.</p><p>im using xp and profit ui and have tried logging in without firewall/antiv and clean boots and still only get as far.</p><p>any ideas?</p>

Try re adding the game to your security software's exception list.Also try backing up and removing the following files from your EQ2 directory.  Then log in and let the patcher get new versions of them.  If that does not work, report back here.cache folderUI foldereq2_recent.inieq2_default.iniEverQuest2.exe and all files named after the character with which you're having this issue.The character specific files will appear as such:Servername_CharacterName_EQ2_uisettings.iniSt ationname_characters.iniTo do this please follow these directions:1. First look for your EverQuest II directory. You can find the directory in the default directory:2. Afterwards, please start EverQuest II to have these files re-downloaded by the patcher.
