Chelsith is soloable, CoA is soloable, and I'd assume korukust is....mobs can hit like trucks, doesnt mean anything if you don't get hit

I doubt a Warlock would make it out of the tunnel in CoA before repops killed him. Even if you did one fear on any of the named and you are dead.

Sorry but RoK instances are made for groups and setup that while you might be able to solo some. One of them is going to get you.

Anyone who said they soloed ANY RoK instance needs to prove it. Because I think it's a flat out lie.

well i didn't try coa yet. But Chelsith is soloable: The Baron Frog and 2 of the random nmds are peace of cake. That's all what's interesting in the zone and works fine since we got our respecc mirrors. Korrucust is quit hard to do solo caus there are some nasty casting mops. even with castrange reduce they still hit ya hard. For the other instances bring along some manareggear, and +on reuse. And than just root nuke down every mop you like. That easy.

"Easy" for a warlock, except when the mob is immune to root... Chelsith: Named frog and a couple of the named mobs inside Chelsith can probably be soloed if you take great care and clear out enough of the trash mobs around. But kind of random how many of these are up unless you spend time zoning in and out and run around checking. The tentacle mobs and the big blob I will not believe is soloable until some proof is posted.Court of Korucost: Could be possible if you are very careful and have a lot of healing proc gear and heal potions. Again, post some proof and I, and others above me, could be convinced it is possible.Crypt of Agony: Just getting there can be tedious, and quite dangerous to your health, but it might be possible if you're very careful and don't have the named rock golem wandering in front of the entrance (immune to root and nasty knockback too). Inside most of the mobs see invis, there are a lot of trash and roaming mobs (which respawns after a little while), and all the nameds except maybe the ghost frog can cast fear. Feared too long or in the wrong direction and you're pretty much dead. They all also strip you of buffs, and cast the crypt curse that doubles your power consumption, although this can be cured with potions. The last boss mob is also immune to root and stun. Wouldn't be surprised if the other named mobs in there are too.Vault of Eternal Sleep: Keeper of Nightmares spawns adds, and a lot of them. I will not believe you are able to kill the named before the adds kill you until someone posts a proof. Keeper of Dreams might be possible if not immune to root like so many of the heroic RoK named mobs are, and if you are very careful in avoiding the power and health drain and at the same time not dragging the mob out of the room. But if you can't kill the Keeper of Nightmares that's the end of that instance while solo.Maiden's Chamber: You might be able to solo the first named until he teleports you and one-shots you. If you somehow can root it in a better position and avoid teleporting yourself on top of it, and avoid blowing up yourself from the aoe you can get hit with, I might believe you if proof is provided. For Sandstorm named, no way you can damage him fast enough solo to not get a ton of adds, and you would need to kill the Devourer to get there anyway. The gear named might be possible, but has a frontal aoe from what I remember which could kill you very fast. Avoid that, and maybe it is soloable. 3-sisters would one-shot you since 2 of them are immune to any control spells. Scorpion has the poison dot, and you would need to kill Sandstorm to even get there. So I might believe the Devourer and the Gear named can be soloed if proof is provided. To sum it up: I might be convinced 1 or 2 mobs in each of the instances are soloable if some kind of proof is provided. But let's not forget there are a lot of trash mobs in all of these instances you have to successfully solo before even getting to the named mobs. In addition all of these nameds you might be able to solo very often drops wooden chests.Time and effort (and repair bill) hardly seems to be worth it in my opinion.

I was able to solo the Blue Baron a few times in Chelsith but was having trouble with the two random named. I'd end up getting hit while trying to clear the 3+ frogs hanging around them. I honestly didn't really have the patience for it at the time but may try going back to work on what technique would work best on them if I find myself with nothing to do.

I know of three 'chanters in my guild who can solo nameds in Chelsith. Not easily, and not every named in the zone, but they do it regularly.

Ok, so I'm hearing the Blue Baron in Chelsith is one to try. I havent spent much time in that zone, but I know not all named spawn when you open an instance. I'm told there are 3 nonguaranteed named that might be soloable. Does anyone know the names of those three? Possibly Bbal'Gaz the Entraller?

And what about Drelikus in Chardok (86^^^)? Non-instanced but Im curious since he has something I want.

An 86 ^^^ is going to orange con to you. If (and a big if) you manage to root him he is going to strip the root almost immediately, while at the same time resisting the hell out of your nukes.I tried the soloing Chelsith routine. I managed to get to try killing one of the random nameds once but my gear was broken when he killed me after breaking both roots on him when I wasn't expecting it (ie both roots dropped while I was in the midst of casting a nuke - he had no dots on him, just managed to strip the roots with nothing happening to him)Since the majority of the time the nameds in instances drop only wood the risk vs reward is just not worth it

I am at 457 for disruption, subjugation etc. So hopefully that will help with getting resisted.

For my own part, I enjoy the challenge. The fact that I could get nice loot is the icing so to speak. So for me, it comes down to what a fae can do, vs what a fae can't do. In the last tier, I was mentally cornered into what I thought could not be done, until I was enlightened, so who knows what's possible.

The devs have made solo'ing instances so incredibly difficult now that even the old group instance solo'ers like myself have a mental stigma against even trying the content. Solo'ing the instances was what I played the game for. When they were gone, I questioned whether I should keep my account active. But I did so for my guild. And now, to hear that some of it might be possible gives me hope that I can enjoy the game once again. It's concievable that the dynamic is so time and cost intensive that it wouldnt be efficient, but I would still like to try, if only to get some of that old feeling back.

Pretty much what Lenefir said, with a few exceptions.

VoES - A skilful warlock might be able to take the named with the massive adds, given clever pulling, but is unlikely to take the other two. It'd be rough to take the other Keeper, and you'd have to avoid the mana drain, and the combination of CC and DPS required for the Praetor is absolutely not soloable by a warlock. Maybe - if he's susceptible to stuns/charms - a chanter, but certainly no other single class has even a prayer.

CoA - Gruppy and the Baron may be soloable*. I'm not sure about these two but the remainder appear immune to most CC (though I believe stuns work on the first 4), all lay out AE fear, and in my experience they one- or two-shot warlocks even with substantial group buffs on them.

Maiden's - no chance whatsoever. When a clothy gets the tail lash, clothy dies. The only chance for any named at all would be to be a tinker, clear the left side of Bill's room and sprint past to feign, then limp through the hallways to the Gear, and pray it's susceptible to root (never actually paid attention to that) and that your power holds out until it's dead. My bet is that it won't.

Korocust should be fairly easy, other than potential multi-death issues with the Ceno. Once the first room and hallways are clear, you only need the Puritan and enough mobs in each room to grab the appropriate bones, and Korocust himself should be doable as long as you stay out of range of his stifle.

*It would take a minor miracle to douse all 3 roamers and take them down in the remaining window, but far be it from me to rain on the parade of any who care to try.

ok, sb wanted to see how to get those mops down in chelsith, right?Ok, here u are:http://img169.imageshack.us/img169/...helsith1op1.jpgThe next onehttp://img527.imageshack.us/img527/...helsith2np1.jpgand the last onehttp://img155.imageshack.us/img155/...helsith3gv3.jpgSo, kinda easy. So dont ask why my HP is sometimes that low, that happends when you pull with deaggro and this !#@§$%-nmd does double Attack on your manashield... It's quit hard to HP->Mana the whole fight ....And i if ya miss the Enthraller i can tell you, is just was [I cannot control my vocabulary] up, by creating the 4th zone without him, so i went in to ern some cash $_$=)

I tried the Entraller. He's a necromancer and casted his tank pet at me.

I assume that also means he can lifetap his health back.
