Why can't I get the final necro epic item?

<p>I'm on the 2nd to last step of the necro epic quest. The journal says "The last piece needed for the combination will be a necromantic orb ..." I'm in Seb in front of the entrance to Venril Sathir's lair and I see "Kotiz' orb of necromantic energy". This is what everyone says I need to get.</p><p>The named was not up. We killed the four guards and I went over and tried to "collect" it. I tried continuously for 5-10 minutes - however long it took for the guards to repop. It kept saying "nothing found" and the "orb slips from your grasp".</p><p>I've spoken to other necros and they got it in the same circumstances.</p><p>I'm still waiting alone and hoping someone will come along and kill the named and guards so I can try again. The named is up now althought others said they got it when he was down.</p><p>Any suggestions?</p>

<p>Thanks. I had to do the same thing (/Petition) and it took about 24 hours too. They had to manually advance it.</p><p>Basically, if you are doing your necro epic you had better plan on parking yourself in the safe corner by the entrance to Venril Sathir and waiting for a GM if you can't harvest it after your group clears the area.</p>
