Do they still do a "Future of the Game" type post?

I was curious if the powers that be still do a post on occasion about what we can expect to see in the future of this game? It seems like it used to be in the producers letter to the masses where we would see some type of information of what will be happen in the next X months or so, but the one this year was more or less an introduction of the new person.I realize that they are loathe to give any type of time line because they will catch all kinds of grief if they miss it by an hour or so, but would just some general information about the future be met the same way? The reason I ask is there are a few things coming in the next 6 months or so that could be a test of a persons commitment to this world. I am a fairly avid reader of these forums and I don't really remember much in the way of future of the game information being released. Sure there is a hint or two of the changes to the live events and the 2 week before the update release notes preview but thats not quite what I am looking for. Is there anything really cool coming or something that will be worth hanging around for or will it all just be the same as it has been?

I remember something about the possibility of offspring in the developers letter  (what was that all about?)</p><p>I think it has developed into player posted Idea's with a yea or nae from the masses kinda thing ...</p><p>Why would the dev's post stuff they want to do when everybody just complains about it?</p><p>Sure somebody had to come up with the original ideas that translated into actual game play.</p><p> But lets be honest .... Players have shaped this game as much as devs have.  </p>

take a week off from work and read all the patch notes since launch, sorry, more like a month to read them all... so yes the game does keep changing, do they communicate on future plans? not really and if they do they leave out many details.Would it be nice to get more communication about such things? sure,  but i woudnt hold my breath for it.

And small non drastic changes are implimented ... So id say the communication lvl is pretty good/ avg ... especially when idea's from players are left so broad that are posted (not even a few stats)</p><p>What the devs need is some content any server wide (Build your Own Boat ) ~ (people would wait for download) ... boat ride <img src="http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/images/smilies/49869fe8223507d7223db3451e5321aa.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" width="15" height="15" />  ,   "The Everchanging Continent ". ~~</p>

<p>I took the blue pill this morning! Oh wait...that was my Zoloft.</p><p>In any event, it seems devs get burned when they start chatting about the stuff that 'might' be coming up in the future. It seems there's always hell to pay anytime they bother.</p><p>And yes, the nudity in AoC is going to be outstanding, according to my husband. He reminds me upon every occasion that the kaboobies have nipples. :/</p>
