ATI 3870 x2 graphics issues

<p>I've recently installed an ATI Radeon HD 3870 x2. Now doors to buildings are missing, and what's behind them is rendered instead. Some of the buildings i can pass through the doorways as if the doors did not exist, and other buildings i just bounce off the empty space where the door is supposed to be.</p><p>  I'm running the most current Catalyst drivers, and have enabled/disabled just about every setting i could find in the Catalyst Control Center, restarting the game each time. I've deleted all my .ini files, which didnt work either. I've also tried everything from Extreme Quality to Extreme Performance, and have tried disabling lighting and shadows to no avail. Disabling Catalyst AI had no effect, either.</p><p> Anyone's help would be greatly appreciated; thanks )</p>

Howdy, Xaijinkai!I have a 3870 x2, and am not observing the problems you describe.  I am getting crappy performance (< 25 fps in most places), but that is another issue.I am running:<ul><li>AMD Athlon 64x2 (dual core CPU)</li><li>Vista Ultimate 64</li><li>4 GB RAM</li><li>650 watt power supply</li></ul>Things that I could see causing issues off the top of my head: power supply; OS install; drivers.  The 3870 X2 draws as much power as a pair of 3870s: a 550-600 watt power supply is sort of the minimum.  OS install... well, it could be that you have XP, and for once Vista is actually better <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" width="15" height="15" />  Okay, that's unlikely- but there could be some problem with your OS install if you've been running without a fresh reinstall for a year or two and performed several upgrades.  Regarding the driver...did you cleanly uninstall your old drivers before you installed the new video card and it's drivers?Sorry I don't have a specific answer.  Best of luck in getting to the bottom of this.
