I played EQ2 a few years ago then stopped. Now I've gone out and repurchased it and after install and updates all 10 gigs of free space I have are gone.I'd just like to know how much space is needed? At this rate its possible my hard drive simply won't be big enough. I've already had to stop the update so I can sort through and delete more off of my computer. Its pretty annoying when you have to delete gigs worth of information to make room for ONE game. I sure don't remember reading anything about needing over 10 gigs free for this on the box.

My EQ2 folder with RoK installed and all adv packs is right aroung 10-11gb. That's without any UI mods (aside from EQ2Map) and minimal log files. It was at about 8gb with just EoF installed.

**Edit**

On a hunch I checked the FAQ page and found this:

What are the system requirements to play?Minimum: Windows® 2000/XP, Pentium® III 1 Ghz or greater, 512 MB RAM, DirectX 9 Compatible video card. Pixel shader and vertex shader compatible hardware with 64MB of texture memory, DirectSound compatible audio hardware, 56k Internet Connection, 16x DVD-ROM, 10GB Hard Drive Space.
