G15 keyboard support um kinda NOT

<p>I saw the G15 support going into this patch and thought wow cool.</p><p>so i set up keyboard download patch and start game um yea i see menus and everything but no information from game being sen!</p><p>Sheesh um what good is it if there is no accurate information sent to display is there any fix or anyone have a possible solution??</p><p>my display is only showing max numbers for everything.</p>

Did you go to the Options menu?  It's on the default page towards the bottom, if I'm remembering correctly from looking at it.  I don't have a G15, but I was poking around in my Options last night on Test.

I have a G-15 and I've had absolutely no problems with the recent patch and new features with the lcd screen. Didn't have to updates G15 drivers or anything.

Having problems also, Used to say "Loading EQ2 Defualt Settings, mow says nothing and I can do nothing.  I should probaly blame it on Vista

I'm using ProfitUI and its not working at all. Its not in the list of programs in the LCD control panel (though Vanguard still is lol). Its enabled in the Options.

Using default UI and works fine here and xp and works fine though i still need to work out a use for it other than being able to see my hp go to zero on two screens rather than one.

I heard some reports that you may want to try the latest G15 drivers.  My G15 is relatively new so I can't confirm this but it sounds reasonable to me.  It's pretty much going to come down to either G15 drivers or custom UIs that need updating in most cases.

I just started playing the game yesterday and I have no idea what a lot of the stuff means, but it does work on my G15  =)

<p>I have an older G15 and I've never updated drivers on it.  I never update drivers unless I need to fix something specific (ain't broke - don't fix) and the G15 has done everything I've asked of it with the original drivers.  I also use ProfitUI Reborn.</p><p>G15 modules from the patch work just as advertised on my setup.  No problems at all.</p>

New G15 update worked for me as well. I was running a 2006 build. The auto-updater did not find any new updates, had to download and install manually from the logitech website.

<p>It runs fine on Default UI nightmarefetish is what was borkin it up it does not support or screws up the way the lcd works you only get maxed stats ie no information to the keyboard. when I did a Loadui default poof it worked so i guess i have to wait tell they update nightmarefetish ui or work with the default</p>

If you're using a custom UI you NEED to include this line in your<b> eq2ui.mainhud.xml</b> file<b>"<include>eq2ui_mainhud_g15.xml</include>"</b> It should fix any custom UI's inclusion of the G15 update. Open the eq2ui.mainhud file in Notepad and add the above line <b>before</b> the final "</Page>" tag. Remove the quotes from the line, the forum won't let me put the line in without them.

yes, downloading the new drivers seem to have fixed the problem.  I also was running the 2006 build. I use the default UI, so I do not know if it fixes the prob on custom...but at least download the new drivers first

I'm using ProfitUI and updated my drivers (I have the older blue LED G15) and it's working fine. Just marginally disappointed the G15 display is only the F11 connection status window. I was hoping for something like WoW's support of the G15 (Health, Power, Armor/MIT, Stats, open bag slots, etc., etc.)

If the author didn't well then it won;t work.

Hmm... I'm using the latest Profit and I'm getting blank pages. The screen appears when I enter EQ2 and all that, but everything is blank.

If you are running Vista, the keyboard startup routines needs to be set to run as administrator
