I ordered my parts today from Newegg. I was unable to get the 780i or the 8800GT as I had planned to do. When you put $600 into repairs for your car (PCM and Quad driver issues) you end up not getting what you wanted in computer parts. Sad I did stick with an EVGA motherboard and just backed down to the 680i A1 board. I also ended up getting the 9600GT card after all. I also didn't get the 6750 processor, but went down a step and got the 6550 instead. I think overall I should still have a decent computer for todays games. Here is the total break down: Case http://www.newegg.com/product/produ....82E16811129021 PSU http://www.newegg.com/product/produ....82E16817341001 Motherboard http://www.newegg.com/product/produ....82E16813188013 CPU http://www.newegg.com/product/produ....82E16819115030 Ram http://www.newegg.com/product/produ....82E16820231122 GPU http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ....82E16814130290 Hopefully I will be able to step up the video card with in 90 days, but I'm not holding my breath. I figured if I can't, then I will have to try for a new computer next year... lol! Anyone care to hazard a guess at what setting I will be able to play with?

I can do some medium settings, some low settings, some high settings.

The problem isn't with the system when it comes to the cpu, it's that EQ2 doesn't have multi-core support as yet. Overall though you will be fine with that setup and will be able to play on balanced or high quality although I would opt for balanced.

I messed up on the video card. It's not a 9600Gt like I had written, but rather a 8600GT.

Aye I saw that don't worry the 8600 is fine.

Stuka, hopefully you will read this thread again. What do you think I should push the CPU too with stock cooling? There are reports of people pushing it to 3.1ghz under stock. As you know it will be in an Antec 900 case and I will have both of the optional fans installed.
