View Full Version : Anyone else getting an error message today?

<p>I know this is a tech support question, and the mods will most likely move it there, but I keep getting this error message when I try to log into my characters. Getting to the character select screen is no problem, but then this happens upon the initial loading of the zone. Not just one character either. In part of that error report, I see "Cx000005" which is an error code(Access Violation) indicating that something has tried to write to memory allocated to another process. This could indicate a driver problem, or perhaps corrupt temp or swap space. You could possibly also have a corrupted file in your install. It might be useful to run the "full scan" option in the patcher (I'm at work and don't have the UI available to me so I don't remember the exact location of the check box.)Sometimes merely rebooting will clear this as well. Windows might have borked it's mapping of memory.Edit: Re-reading your description, it really sounds as if your game cache files have become corrupt. Setting the texture cache to zero in options (from the character select screen) and restarting the client may resolve this. I've had it happen at least once. Otherwise the other suggestions remain a possibility.

Not that one put I get this when I try to pick up ground spawn-The Inventory Loot53265 window is not compatible with the current client. Please upgrade your UI mod to a compatible version or revert to the default UI- Can anyone explain this to me and tell me how to fix it? I reset my Ui to defult but itdid not help-thank you-

I reset my Ui to defult but itdid not help-thank you-</blockquote>I got this too, it's because of custom UI mods.  I was using thoruiI fixed it by going into my EQ2 directory and removing the UI folder.  After this I let the patcher download the files again and it worked fine.You can likely remove your UI mods instead of the whole UI folder, but if you want to be quick and easy, just get that whole folder out of there..Unfortunately this is why we don't support UIs, but it's likely the UI makers will have updates in a few days.

Its not an UI Problem, I have Profit UI on both, my new and my old computer and every time I'm getting near the docks, dreadlands or sight on Karnors Castle I get the Client Application Error-Message. Strange thing is, it's happening only on my new computer....
