I am trying to put together a complete, up-to-date summary of the House Everling story arc at http://eq2.allakhazam.com/wiki/The_Everling_SagaHas anyone discovered who "The Seeker" is? Does this open a new quest?

Seems your entire site is down now Bah! Just when I wanted to read some Everling Lore... You might even have DNS issues - other international sites work from my end. TRACERT, nor PING cannot connect to your site.

Damned DDOS'ers attacked last night. The site is being reinstalled to more robust servers (or something like that) and it will be back up tomorrow (at least, that's the word I have received).

This is getting crazy. First it was you guys, then EQ2Flames, and now you guys again. I cannot imagine that either of those sites would be prime targets for a DDoS attack. What are you hiding? Well anyway, I'm looking forward to reading what you have, thus far. Thanks for the feedback!

His text, although I dont recall it exactly points you to find the Ewer of Sul'Dae which is of course locked away in the temple where the God King Anuk is. I have been attempting to complete that last raid quest for months now but getting people together to raid the eyes just to get into the God King instance is mind numbing at this point as no one wants to spend the time doing it as the rewards arent worth it any longer.

Um... the text of the link includes /wiki/ but the actual link is still lacking it. You've got to hit the edit link button to correct it there too. Or just delete the line entirely and repost it:http://eq2.allakhazam.com/wiki/The_Everling_SagaOverall though, it looks great! Rikantus does direct you to Seeker Abdeef for the Peacock Club quest line, when you ask him about the prophet of oblivion: "It would seem that the Vizier of Maj'Dul himself shares an interest in such things. It was his attendant, Seeker Abdeef, that inquired of the prophet and ewer. The seeker is no doubt scouring the streets of Maj'Dul for more clues. Seek the seeker and you will gain the knowledge you seek."However, given that Nektropos: Tribulation and the Idol of Everling were released well after DoF, I suspect the Seeker might have alternate info outside of that storyline. Maybe if the person hailing has the Idol of Everling with them? I haven't completed Tribulation yet, and Mor'tael doesn't respond to the Idol from Nek 1 with the channeling, so I can't test this myself.Does Rikantus in Antonica give any information if you hail him with the idol in-hand?Also, wild thought, but I notice while Rikantus is a non-attackable NPC, Kantus Mor'Tael is attackable. Given the transcribed conversation with Rikantus Everling in Nek 3, I'm guessing he's not attackable either. Kantus's surname (Mor'tael -mortal?) is probably supposed to be a poke at him being the only killable portion of Everling... but maybe it's a clue that this one is the portion of Everling that binds him to this world? Anyone gotten that far in the Everling Saga, and completed Tribulation, and tried killing him?And I feel your pain, Valdaglerion. In the end I just waited until I was 73 and most of the epics were grey.

Run Nek 3 Tribulation many times and never seen an attackble form of Everling at the end. For the seeker it might be important to note I have completed Peacock. I had a friend in-game that was unable to get the same text from him as he had not completed the Peacock line so apparently something changes in the Seekers dialog based on you talking the merchant, having the idol with you and having gone through Peacock but to what point in Peacock I dont know.I was hoping we would see something new from Vhalen soon about this and maybe being able to open the book in Nek3 which appears to be a closed case for the moment. /sighOne of the most intriguing story lines in the game to me and we keep hitting walls with it. The line has come through all expansions now until Rok which is sad. The shadowmen seem to pervail through as Fiddy Bobick has disappeared from the Peacock Club and is now present in City of Mist in an instance there for the Fate of Norrath quest which has the scroll cases in his shop elduing to the shadowmen but I digress.

I worked on this a little last night and came up with nothing. I easily found the Seeker but as stated above he only speaks of the ewer. So out of curiosity I went into the Peacock club. What I found was interesting and may not be new at all...i honestly haven't been back to the club since doing the peacock story line. I talked with all the NPCs and they hinted around about the Loping Plains and what not so I disregarded that as stuff for EoF but I did find Fippy Darkpaw in the back corner so I spoke with him. He talk a lot of noise for the most part but something he said caught my interest. He said something along the lines of being in the Crows Tavern and don't interrupt his game. Also he spoke of the fireplace and how I should stay away from it.So there was only one thing for me to do; go to the crows Tavern, interrupt his game and go to the fireplace. I have completed Soulfire already so I knew where the tavern was down in the sewer. I went to speak with him there and he didn't really seem to say anything new than the last time I was there. The fire guardian in the fireplace did speak with me...mostly jokes about marshmallows and such but he did say 2 interesting phrases. One involved the part he played in protecting one of the most precious artifacts within the planes. And another phrase was about if i found a ring with strange markings on it then I should throw it into the fire. The last one may be an homage to LOTR but might also mean something in the game as well. I found nothing other than a few NPCs to speak with so I made my way back to the Peacock club. When I entered it was mostly the same but this time Fippy was removed which I thought was very odd.Again I apologize if this has already been covered and/or has nothing to do with the Everling saga but I found it very interesting. I'm anxious to hear when someone actually can progress this along.
He's in the Moppet Shop in Kunzar Jungle now. If you read the thread about the lore after Trakanon is killed it's covered there.

Fiddy Bobick is a halfling. Fippy Darkpaw is a gnoll. Other than a slight similarity in name and their association with the Peacock Club, they are unrelated.

Right. It was Fippy Darkpaw (the gnoll) that was in the peacock club. Thats what I thought to be strange.

From the Trakanon is dead.... now what? thread:RoK...we're looking to recover the Chelsith Stone, then confront Trakanon for the amulet he has and the information he can give us about Age's End through his prophetic power. once we do, Mayong allows us to keep it, while he looks for the Shissar calendar about Age's End, and the monuments of Theer. he hints that the Chelsith stone, combined with the monuments would 'unlock' age's end, and that the Shadowed Men are either just guarding the monuments and searching for the Stone, or searching for both.Hello?? Monuments of THEER? Remember the words enscribed on the Idol of Everling? "Mor'Tael of Vul Merchant of Oblivion, Servant of Theer"Is Rikantus a Shadow Man host? How is he connected to Theer?AND... I seem to remember something I read somewhere about the stone of the Shissar...AND... Vhalen said "Rikantus has released the key to destiny." Is the Chelsith stone the key? How was Rikantus involved with it?Rikantus says, "The rune's family awaits. It is a single key of a great ring." Is the Rune of Ethernere and the Chelsith Stone one and the same?
