Once upon a time I attempted to understand the mechanics of ranger dps.  I lost a few braincells in the process then the realization came.  If mob equals dead and ranger is still alive then ranger equals happy.  So much easier to think of it that way.

I've never had a problem figuring out a Ranger's damage in the past.. from the point end of the arrow that is. If I'm dead before I can turn around and watch a speck dash off in to the distance, it was probably a Ranger. <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> Its a little more balanced now, but I can definitely understand how confusing the whole arrow fiasco must be for Rangers in T7/8.
