2nd line in both windows serves to prefix allied statistics. If you only want your own hps uncheck them. For posting your clipboard in chat and a quick overview in mini window or keyboard display I use Clipbord Export Formatting{NAME5} {EXTHPS} {healed%} | {MAXHEAL} | {MAXHEALWARD} {n} ({duration}) HEALPARSE {n}Heal% | largest heal | largest ward {n}Mini window Formatting{EXTDPS} {NAME3} | {healed%}{n} ({duration}) {EXTDPS}

I really don't like heal parsers. They encourage poor game play for healers.For example, A very significant amount of damage comes through dots, which there is no simple way to parse. If someone parses me in a fight where I am healing dots furiously, my heal parse will be a fraction of another healer's that does not do cures at all.Ignorant parse [Removed for Content] will then tell me what a lame cleric I am, and point to my bigger available mana pool as proof that I'm not really trying to heal. Completely ignoring the fact that we survived the fight just as well with me healing as that other guy with the higher parse, but since I've still got a lot more power available, because cures are the most mana-efficient heal going--with my AAs it costs 11 mana to cure a dot that could do hundreds of HP in damage--I'm can handle adds and longer fights better than that other guy. Since that damage isn't happening, I'm not healing it. And if I'm not healing it, it's not showing on my heal parse. In truth, the better, read more skilled, healers will actually show lower heal parses. Heal parsers also do not account for the effectiveness of my debuffs to reduce mob damage.Of course, a healer might have more skill, but might just be being lazy, especially in a group situation. In a group scenario just refreshing the ward might be plenty, provided the content isn't challenging.

The OP didn't say he wanted a heal parse to compare himself to others. He didnt' even say he wanted to post it in a raid. A heal parse is a very useful and IMPORTANT tool if you are using it for self improvement. Knowledge of yourself and your own spells never hurts.

Yes a heal parse is decieving if you are measuring all the healers in a raid with it. But the OP hinted at nothing of the sort. He just wants to figure out a good way to display the information that he recieves in the wonderful tool that is ACT.

It sounds to me like you need new friends or raiders if they are all " Ignorant parse [Removed for Content]"

I nowhere accused the OP of being a parse [Removed for Content]. So there is no need to leap to his defense. I simply stated that it does encourage poor gameplay amoung many, if not most of the people that use it. And attempted to explain why so that the OP doesn't become a parse [Removed for Content].Which is true, and thus the reason I don't like parsers. Poor information is still poor information, no matter what pretty tool you use.
