View Full Version : Additional dps adorns
Ok it has been some time now that the bruiser offensive stance lost its dps mod and I would like to know if there is another slot for a dps adornment other than the neck slot. Just seems that bruisers should be able to modify their dps similar to how a monk modifies their high self haste.

You can get a dps adornment for the ranged slot. At Tier 8, it gives +12dps, but is a rare adornment, unlike the neck slot.

Might want to try getting the t7 verson for the ranged slot, it's only 10dps but getting the ingredients for it would be easier than the t8 version atm. Also, there's an EoF earring that can add dps, the name eludes me though.

~Raithan

What happened to Off stance?

It has been some time back that SOE changed the bruiser offensive stance from just a (raid/group) 25 to dps mod to a 20% effectiveness to all taunts and detaunts plus the 25 to dps mod. These figures are at the lvl 60+ master version also. Then later it was changed again with the loss of the 25 to dps mod and was replaced with + 89 to all combat arts. I don't mind the +89 to combat arts at all and think that it is cool but is situational. I read in a post elsewhere that while this is a +89 or higher to combat arts it doesn't help any casters in the group since they only have spells. That is just to point what was posted in another forum.

Now if the bruiser is the antithesis of the monk then the bruiser is missing self/group dps mods. Monks offensive stance gives them haste, a group version of haste, and one ability that gives them haste at a slow but managable health drain. All I am saying is that shouldn't a bruiser get these dps mods similar to how a monk gets haste? It is just a thought.

Don't Bruisers get a proc for damage of there offensive stance?

Please forgive my ignorance. The stance isn't our offensive stance but the rabid cry or manhandling line. I am sorry for the mis information reguarding this with our offensive stance.

Yes, Bruisers get a heat damage proc [Engulf] which is strongest in Offensive, less so in Balanced and missing entirely from Defensive stance. What Aull was referring to is the Brutality line, a Taunt/CA buff [which cannot be stacked with another Bruiser's version] which affects every member of your group. The T8 version is called Bruising Cry [lvl76].
