While in the process of furnishing my new five room house in Qeynos, I had a very definite mental picture of what I wanted my new place to look like. One of my biggest frustrations was that the majority of wood items looked unfinished. Chairs, tables, and whatnot looked like old bits of driftwood cobbled together however.

Could we please get more furniture pieces that do not look like flotsam and jetsam?

A few items, notably the ornate round ironwood table and the various permutations of the light and dark cedar tables, look very, very nice - polished to a satin finish. The recent Erollisi Day chaise lounges were fantastic additions, too. The intricate oak table is excellent, too, but a version that is twice the length would be fantastic.

Would it be too much to ask for a chair that utilized these nice darker stains but wasn't twisted and warped? Think a nice mahogany Chippendale chair, not Castle of Blüd.

Additionally, could we please have some busts or other classical-style statuary that didn't sit and chat at you?

Moreover, I would love to see some lovely brocade tapestries - simple floral patterns or something more medieval Flemish. Rich, deep colours like a claret colour and cloth of gold or something of that sort.

Finally, could we get some chandeliers that didn't look tortured and that actually shed light?

I know that there are many demands on the art department and I thank you for your time and consideration.

Anordil

Yea, verily! And I'm not just saying that because he's my guildmaster. I would especially like to see some better lighting options. My home is frightfully dim, it feels like a cave-dwelling.
I agree all the way. More finished looking tables and chairs, I knew something was missing but couldn't quite figure out about the furniture And the ones that do look finished are hampered with warped legs, please make the furniture you have for carpenters more fitting to have than in the outside zones it came from. And more unique furniture, as in ones that were made for the home, Would be nice to have something that only could be seen from other people's home.

Also more light emitting furniture. Can of sucks to place a candle, lamp, chandelier etc. only to find it's still dark.

And I know it's been asked a bunch, but couches, at least 3 for choice sake.

The rest is a light oakish colour and really underwhelming. The counters all look weathered and unattractive, too. As for the gilded stuff. Oy. More Castle of Blüd style furnishings. As for the light fixtures, I categorically refuse to utilize anything that has a) shooting flames regardless of colour or b) looks like it needs an electric plug, e.g. ironwood table lamp.As for the T8 stuff, the large redwood bookcase is the best of the lot. :-/ Honestly, dear artists, why are we being given things that look like something from Better Huts and Castaways or weird things from D&D Magazines circa 1982? I'd be happy to send you all sorts of images to get the ol' creative juices flowin', but really, enough with the weathered wood, shootin' flames, and tortured shapes already. :-/
