From ye olde patche notes:

There are now more amenities available in East, North and South Freeport, including bankers, menders, and mariner's bells to summon transportation in and out. Similar amenities are now also available in North and South Qeynos. The Ironforge Exchange of Qeynos has also taken advantage of the confusion to acquire the struggling business of Fhara's Furnishings in North Qeynos, and has refurbished this building to be their new headquarters.

While I applaud efforts to bring Freeport and Qeynos more in line with the newer zoneless cities, I do have a concern. (Actually, my main concern is for poor Fhara; I have fond memories of her shop and will be sad to see it go. It's my Carpenter's favorite place to craft.)Anyway, my concern is the disparity in housing prices and broker slots among Irontoe's Eats, the Lion's Mane, and Fish's Alehouse. The suites in Fish's Alehouse are more expensive and have fewer broker slots than the other two-room suites, and the reason given for that is because you pay more for the convenience of being in Qeynos Harbor near a broker and near the docks and near a banker. The suites at the Lion's Mane were the least expensive because there was no mariner's bell and no banker in the zone. (Irontoe's is in the middle because there is a banker but no mariner's bell.)Are the properties of the three two-room suite locations going to be equalized with the addition of these extra amenities to South and North Qeynos, or will Fish's Alehouse residents continue to pay more for convenience that is no longer unique?Powers &8^]

I hope you don't mind if I hijack your thread for another related question, because I had one myself. Since Ironforge is moving to Fhara's, does that mean Ironforge is still an instance or will we be able to go in and out if it like we do the store right now? I really like to use the tradeskill tables outside sometimes for writs, because I can use the clipboard there to start right away, and if it's not an instance, then that would be a really nice change.

I'm thinking that they at least gave her a fair price for the space or at least gave her a job...

You can stay in the shop in NQ .. or .. you can zip into the Celler, conviently located right next to the door. Both areas have access to Writ Givers. We also have convient access to a Mailbox right around the corner of the building and of course the Banker and Broker are still across the street.

I actually think this set up is way better than the Freeport version. Maybe, Domino can see to moving a Mailbox and a few more homey touches to FP later on.

I appreciate the comments, but that wasn't really the point of the thread. =) I perhaps named it poorly.Powers &8^]

Related, but not exactly on track, I'm wondering about the status of the "bell area" in the Elddar Grove? There's even a pathway down to the water JUST like the suburbs, but there's no bells there. Were any added in this update, or no? Seems like a probable relatively simple change.
