HEllo and well met,I have forsaken WoW, I coming on board. From what i have been reading however, it seems a lot of class's will find it hard as a new player to get into guilds and be able to raid, as most places are already filled. My question is are there any class that are still or would be need'd on raids thats not a cleric ) ?. Any info/feedback would be welcome. Hope i can find a home in norrath!

Class you want to stay away from are tank classes. unless as a tank you get lucky and find a new guild that doesnt have thier Main tank and off tank filled they are pretty much useless and you'll be lucky to be invited.

Heck most raid guilds only carry 2 MAYBE 3 tanks on thier roster.

More specifically, if you're playing a scout, I'm told you want to play a single target DPS scout (such as a Brig, which is my main). The current top-tier raids require that class.
Actually from what i've seen it really depends on the server. MY BEST SUGGESTION is check the server boards for what server you want to play on, check out the top guilds and see what they are recruiting. Also realize with smaller raid sizes the amount of folks needed is less, there might not be much if any room for someone "new". TO be honest thou, healers are almost always wanted with rare exceptions and that has been true for many mmos. AT least with this partiqular mmo as a fury i can dps just fine, same with the other priest classes, the only down side is alot of the furies that are around are wizzy wanna be's and don't like to heal which can give a bad rep to a class.

While you're unguilded, it'll list a few guilds for you to look at who are currently looking for more players. Under each one on the left hand column will have icons to hover over. These will give you an idea of what the guild is like. If you see one that looks like you'll be a good fit in, on the right side will show the recruiters for that guild and links to send recruiters messages that you would like to contact them.
