Server came down yesterday morning, and this morning saying updates are being put in, and yet, there are no notes posted. So one can only speculate there were more ninja nerfs put in. Not to be a glass half empty guy but SOE has track record for doing this, and I won't be holding my breath on them changing that behavior.

No notes = Something got nerfed

And SOE doesnt want to tell you cus your gona be angry about it

Chances are it's probably an exploit fix. They likely don't want to list out notes because there are frequently fixes that make it to live that don't work.On that note, they should be at least throwing up notes that say "Fixed an exploit!".It's beating a dead horse though, and they'll never do it. People have been asking for comprehensive patch notes since release, and we've been ignored the entire time. It's one huge failing of this development team that's never really been addressed.

No one was ignored. The dev's answered, it just wasn't what you wanted to hear.

There's no reason whatsoever you can give me that they should patch in mechanic changing nerfs without any notice that would be valid. If it changes gameplay, it should be listed.

(( if an auto mechanic did some work under your hood he is obligated to tell you exactly what he did, etc.But EQ2 isnt a car, you (hopefully) dont put your life on the line to use it, nor do you risk it by playing. The patches make maintenance and changes to the Software, which happens to be intellectual property of SOE, and we have no right to stop them from making said changes, because essentially we are just 'renting' their servers for the game, and 'renting' the software. They dun hafta tell us nuthin. If you don't find that acceptable, feel free to click ' I Decline' when the EULA pops up. It's part of it, they can do whatever they want with the software.(sucks, but what can you do).however, you'll find other games like WoW use under-the-hood spyware that monitors your system to see which programs you are running, and make sure you arent trying to tamper with EQ2.SOE made a deal never to use spyware type probing backround software to catch hackers and exploiters, so feel lucky your privacy isnt infringed upon by such things. The other side of the coin is we have to endure the weeding out and banning of exploiters the HARD way, using report logs and petitions. (the inefficient way, but better than spyware on your system).

Either give us 100% of the patch notes that relate to gameplay mechanics, or don't give us any at all.Giving us "some" is just [Removed for Content]. Especially when items left off impact how we play our characters.
