Expansion Update Question

<b><p>My computer was able to run EQ2 before Rise of Kunark came out and I found that because of new sound effects on the expansion, my sound card would cause the game to crash after pressing "Play". If I were to uninstall the latest version and install the previous one (Echoes of Faydwer) would the updates automatically install Rise of Kunaark (since my account has it registered) or would I be able <b>to play just Echoes of Faydwer again?</b></p><p><b>Post request by someone I know. Any help would be appreciated, thanks much.</b></p></b>

You caannot enter the game without a currenlty fully patched client.</p><p>What soundcard are you running, and what is the date on your drivers. This is a case where the stickied post requesting the MSInfo and DXdiag is really needed. Make sure you follow the instructions in the post exactly on what to run and how to post it.</p>
